Nitrates Derogation 2024

The Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue, T.D, announced on 12 March 2024, that the 2024 Nitrates Derogation application system is now available on-line. For full details of press release click here. As part of other adjustments, an “opt-in” measure  to feed a lower level of crude protein  has been introduced. Download DAFM FAQ here.

Feed Issues

The IGFA Feed Issues newsletter is sent to all members monthly along with the RASFF (Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed) for that period. Annual Dinner

We were delighted to host our Annual Dinner in Dublin on 25 January 2024 and to have the opportunity to welcome members and guests from all over Ireland and abroad. Thanks to everyone who attended, we hope you enjoyed the evening. Thanks also to the staff at the Crowne Plaza Hotel who did such a wonderful job.

IGFA is member of the influential European Feed Manufacturers’ Federation (FEFAC). Founded in 1959 by five national compound feed associations from France, Belgium, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, its membership is now made up of national associations from 22 EU Member States.
